We are looking for: 1 System Administrator / Network Technician (m/f/x) Full-time

Are complex IT infrastructures, international environments, and modern security concepts exactly your thing?

For our external customer, we are looking for an experienced IT personality who enjoys working in demanding system and network landscapes and actively participates in their further development – embedded in a cross-location team with a focus on stability, security, and innovation.

Tasks

• Active design, further development, and optimization of demanding IT infrastructures

• Taking on responsibility – depending on the focus – in the areas of network, server/systems, or IT security

• Operation and support of the global network and communication landscape (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VoIP, access systems & video surveillance), especially with Cisco and Palo Alto

• Support of server and system landscapes including monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting

• Participation in or leadership of local as well as group-wide IT projects of varying size and complexity

• Involvement in innovative topics such as automation, security concepts, and AI-based technologies

Profile

• Completed IT training (apprenticeship, HTL, FH, or university)

• Several years of professional experience in system and/or network administration

• Broad technical understanding across the entire IT infrastructure (e.g., server, clients, virtualization, backup, security)

• Ideally, in-depth knowledge or certifications in one or more of the following areas:

** Active Directory & Microsoft 365

** Windows Server (DNS, DHCP)

** Public Cloud (AWS and/or Azure)

** IT security (e.g., Palo Alto Firewalls, Zero Trust, SIEM)

• Willingness to occasionally travel to international corporate locations

• Structured, precise way of working as well as good English skills

We offer a salary of at least €4,000 gross based on full-time employment upon fulfillment of all requirements.
