*Key Responsibilities*

• Deliver direct patient care in diverse healthcare settings, including acute care, assisted living, and medical offices.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, focusing on pain management and symptom control.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist in case management and coordinate care for patients with complex medical needs.
• Accurately document patient information in electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding healthcare needs and care plans.

*Experience & Qualifications*

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience in acute care, dementia care, hospice care, or other specialized areas is an asset.
• Strong skills in medication administration and familiarity with various administration routes.
• Knowledge of pain management protocols and best practices.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and healthcare documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

*Requirements*

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Completion of an RN program.

Pay: $33.00-$35.00 per hour
