• You take over the operation and administration of the Windows server infrastructure of a well-known customer within a Managed Service model and ensure stable and reliable operation of the responsible systems.
• The processing of Incidents, Service Requests, Problems and Changes in 2nd and 3rd level support, as well as the analysis of complex malfunctions and sustainable solution concepts, are part of your area of responsibility.
• You continuously administer and further develop central Microsoft infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS and Windows File Services.
• Through the use of PowerShell, you automate recurring operational processes, perform maintenance work and technical adjustments, and optimize existing systems with regard to stability, performance and degree of automation.
• In close cooperation with technical specialist departments and service management functions, you document solutions, coordinate technical topics and support the continuous improvement and standardization of Managed Service operations.

Your skills? More than interesting:

• Several years of experience in the operation of complex Windows server environments as well as in 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Very good knowledge in the Microsoft Windows Server environment, especially in the areas of Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, DFS, Windows File Services as well as PowerShell and the automation of administrative activities.
• Ideally, you have knowledge in VMware vSphere and vCenter, Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager, Trend Micro Security solutions as well as ServiceNow or comparable ITSM systems.
• Understanding of ITSM processes, especially Incident, Problem and Change Management, as well as experience in a Managed Service or IT Outsourcing environment are an advantage.
• An independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working, high sense of responsibility, strong communication skills as well as good written and spoken English skills round off your profile.

What awaits you in the IT System House Nuremberg/Würzburg: Currently, well over 300 colleagues work here, distributed across our two locations in Nuremberg and Würzburg. In Nuremberg, about 190 colleagues are located in an attractive position in the heart of the city, and in Würzburg, about 120 colleagues work in the new Skyline Hill business park directly on the site of the former state garden show.
