Electronics Engineer (M/F) in Industry
You will join a human-sized site (+/- 150 employees) of a designer of detection equipment for various industrial sectors, in France and internationally. Within the New Products team of the R&D department (+/- 15 people), you will join the hardware team to strengthen electronic design capabilities. You will play a key role in the design, development, qualification, and integration of boards, modules, and electronic sub-assemblies dedicated to detectors. You will work in close collaboration with the firmware, mechanical, production, quality, and certification teams, in order to guarantee robust, reliable solutions that comply with international requirements. Your missions: Hardware Design
- Design complete electronic architectures, from the sensor to the communication interfaces.
- Create schematics and multilayer PCBs (Altium Designer).
- Research, select, and validate key components (microcontrollers, converters, sensors, power supplies, communication modules).
- Perform simulations (SPICE), reliability analyses (FMEA), derating.
- Design robust power management solutions, adapted to demanding industrial environments.
- Develop and operate hardware test benches.
- Conduct advanced testing: EMC, electrical disturbances, vibrations, endurance.
- Interact with the certification department to integrate CE, EMC, and ATEX requirements from the design stage.
- Contribute to hardware cybersecurity (debug access, protections, interfaces).
- Write the associated technical documentation (design notes, validation results, specifications).
Systemic Integration
- Work in close connection with the firmware, mechanical, quality, and industrialization teams.
- Perform complete system tests and resolve hardware / firmware interface issues.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our electronic solutions.
Profile: Education Bac+2 to Bac+5 (engineering school, university) or recognized equivalent experience. Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in hardware electronic design (more significant experience is an asset). Mastery of Altium Designer or an equivalent electronic design tool. Knowledge of certification standards and requirements (EMC, ATEX). Very good analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills. English B1-B2 (oral and written), allowing exchanges with international teams (Scotland, Quebec, United States). Comfort in demanding industrial environments.
