Are you interested in practical technical work where you get to work with high-quality measuring instruments and see the results of your own work concretely?

We are now looking for a maintenance technician to strengthen the Beamex maintenance team. In this role, you will focus specifically on the maintenance and repair of Beamex devices as part of an experienced and collaborative team.

Your tasks

As a maintenance technician, you will work with Beamex devices during various stages of their maintenance process. The work is practical and independent, but you will have a team around you to provide support if needed.

Your daily tasks include, among other things:

• preparing devices for calibration
• preparing cost estimates

• repairing devices, initially focusing particularly on mechanical repairs
• preparing maintenance reports

• finishing maintained devices and preparing them for the next stage.

You will work closely with other maintenance technicians, maintenance coordinators, and logistics. During the day, there may be several different devices under work, so the ability to organize your own work and prioritize tasks is an important part of everyday life.

Although the main focus of the task is on repairs, you do not have to be limited to them. If you are interested in developing your expertise later in other maintenance tasks or calibration, there may be opportunities.

What kind of team awaits you?

You will join a team of about ten maintenance technicians, which includes both those at the beginning of their careers and more experienced professionals.

Each of us has our own areas of responsibility and the work requires an independent approach, but work is not done alone. The team helps each other and shares expertise when necessary.

The work environment is clean and quiet, and we normally work day shifts with flexible working hours. We also want to constantly develop our way of working, so you will have the opportunity to influence the development of your own work and our working methods together with the rest of the team and production engineers.

What do we expect from you?

You could fit the role well if you enjoy practical technical work, are precise, and have good manual dexterity. Above all, we value a proactive and positive work attitude as well as the ability to take responsibility for your own work.

Success in the role is supported by:

• good manual dexterity and an interest in working with technical devices
• proactivity and the ability to work independently

• the ability to prioritize your own work
• precision and careful adherence to work instructions

• a positive and collaborative attitude.

A suitable educational background could be, for example, in the electronics or automation field, but other types of technical education or background may also suit the role. Previous experience in repairing mechanical devices, electronics repair, or measurement technology is considered an advantage.

However, you do not need to be a veteran of maintenance technology. A person at the beginning of their career can also fit the role well if you have technical expertise, good manual dexterity, and a desire to learn.

Proficiency in Finnish and Swedish is seen as an advantage in the role. English language skills are important, as you will also communicate with international customers and colleagues in your work.

The salary range for the position is €2,240–3,100 per month, and the final salary is determined by the selected person's background and expertise.
