About the School: Inaugurated in 2010 and recognized by the International Baccalaureate Organization as an IB Continuum School, Beacon School educates more than 1,500 students, from Early Childhood Education to High School. The professional will assist students during established periods, using the specific methodology adopted by the school, aiming for the development of the student's intellectual, emotional, and physical potential within the planned schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ATTRIBUTIONS Assist students in the classroom with their teaching activities in general, helping the teacher maintain student attention during classes. Approach students individually during class time or at other scheduled times, clarifying doubts and assisting in the conduct of the semester. Assist in the organization and preparation of spaces, audiovisual resources, and other materials to be used in the classroom, previously planned by the teachers. Organization of practical classes together with the lead teacher. Participate in support classes and doubt-clearing sessions (tutoring). Monitoring students in disciplinary projects that have received authorization from the coordination. If requested by the coordination, experience applied and directed activities and projects for students. Work jointly with teachers, coordinators, SWBC, and Area Leaders to adapt and differentiate materials, activities, and teaching strategies, evaluating student needs. Accompany students in the absence of the teacher, applying specific activities previously developed by the lead teacher. Adhere to the Internship and Apprentice Program schedule. Actively participate in the Winter Camp working group.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Currently studying for a Teaching Degree (Licenciatura) in History, with expected graduation between July and December 2028 TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: At least two more years of course remaining Desire to work in Education Intermediate IT knowledge (GSuite and Office Package) Advanced English
