Metrology Controller in Mechanics and Work (M/F)

The company BEA Métrologie is recruiting its future experienced Repair Technician and calibration of dimensional measuring instruments M/F! Who are we? Job presentation and missions:

Within the Passy (74) laboratory, you will act under the authority of the Associate Delegated Director located at the headquarters in Mérignac (33). Your mission involves performing technical metrology services in the field of dimensional metrology, both in the laboratory and at client sites.

You will be in charge of:

• Repairing dimensional measuring instruments: identifying faults, evaluating the cost and lead time of repairs
• Establishing commercial offers
• Making requests to the purchasing department for the acquisition of spare parts
• Performing repairs once the proposed offer is validated

You will also have to:

• Perform the calibration and verification of measurement, control, and testing equipment
• Write calibration certificates and verification reports
• Ensure the validity and capability of the calibration means used
• Interpret and exploit results and technical data related to the equipment to be calibrated
• Act as field technical support
• Perform the documentary update of equipment files
• Organize and optimize working time
• Perform deliveries to local clients located in the Arve valley

Your function is carried out in strict compliance with current quality procedures. As such, you must comply with:

• Compliance with obligations related to the NF EN ISO 17025 standard
• Compliance with HSE instructions
• Compliance with internal procedures, sheets, and instructions
• Communicating complaints and non-conformities of repair and calibration activities to the person in charge of group quality

You must also:

• Be proactive in proposing continuous improvement for the activity
• Participate in the management of the metrology activity

Profile sought:

• Training/Level: Bac +2/3 (DUT/BTS/Licence), Metrology, Physical measurement, instrumentation, testing, instrumentation, electronics
• Personal qualities:
• Expertise in repairing measuring instruments
• Rigor, keen sense of analysis and questioning of obtained results,
• Taste for the field, pragmatism
• Autonomy, adaptability, and developed interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage priorities, to work in a team
• Good oral and written expression
• Mastery of EXCEL and WORD software

• Skills:
• Repairing measurement equipment
• Knowledge of metrology concepts and tools
• Knowledge of technical procedures and instructions for measurement equipment
• Knowledge of measurement uncertainties

• Language: school-level English
• Desired start date: as soon as possible
