About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled 3D Fashion Designer to join our client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming fashion concepts, sketches and creative ideas into realistic 3D garment designs, virtual samples and high-quality visualisations. You will work closely with fashion designers, tailors and production teams to develop designs that are both visually appealing and practical from a garment-construction perspective.

This role is ideal for someone who combines fashion design knowledge with strong 3D design skills and can bring concepts to life digitally before they move into physical production.

Key Responsibilities

·        Create realistic and visually accurate 3D garment and fashion designs based on sketches, concepts and creative briefs.

·        Translate 2D sketches and creative concepts into detailed 3D garment visualisations.

·        Develop virtual garment samples, prototypes and digital clothing models for design review and production planning.

·        Create accurate representations of garment fit, silhouette, fabric behaviour, textures, colours and details.

·        Collaborate closely with fashion designers, tailors, pattern makers and production teams throughout the design and development process.

·        Prepare high-quality 3D renders and presentations for internal reviews, client presentations and design approvals.

·        Make design modifications and adjustments based on feedback from clients, designers and production teams.

·        Support the development of new fashion collections, concepts and garment designs.

·        Ensure that 3D designs accurately reflect the intended physical garment and can be translated into production where required.

·        Assist the team in identifying potential design, fit or construction issues before physical sampling.

·        Maintain organised digital files, design assets and versions of completed projects.

·        Keep up to date with developments in 3D fashion design, digital garment technology, fabrics and industry trends.

·        Ensure all assigned projects are completed within agreed timelines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.

Requirements & Qualifications

·        Degree, HND, OND or professional training in Fashion Design, 3D Design, Graphic/Visual Design or a related field.

·        2–4 years of relevant experience in 3D fashion, garment design or a closely related role is preferred.

·        Proven proficiency in one or more 3D fashion/design software, such as: CLO 3D, Blender Or other relevant 3D garment design software.

·        Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern development, fabrics, fit and fashion design principles.

·        Ability to interpret sketches, design concepts and creative briefs.

·        Strong understanding of fabric properties and how different materials behave digitally and physically.

·        Strong attention to detail, particularly with garment proportions, finishing, textures and construction.

·        Ability to receive feedback and make design revisions efficiently.

·        Good communication and collaboration skills.

·        Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.

·        A strong portfolio demonstrating 3D fashion/garment design work is mandatory.
