Semi Senior DevOps Engineer - (GitLab CI/CD + GCP)

About the company

At BC Tecnología, we are looking for a Semi Senior DevOps Engineer for the Digital Channels Management department. You will work under the organization's DevSecOps governance and provide support to the development cells.

Your tasks

• Incorporate microservices into the corporate CI/CD pipeline and resolve incidents for the cells.
• Maintain, create, and extend pipeline templates (build, deploy, IaC, security, and quality).
• Operate GitOps deployments with multi-cluster ArgoCD and Cloud Run and Cloud Functions deployments per environment.
• Maintain the DevSecOps baseline: active scanners, review of findings, and distroless and non-root images.
• Support the integration of external projects (repositories, Gitflow, configuration per environment).
• Document runbooks and operating procedures.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

• GitLab CI/CD (primary; GitHub Actions does not replace it):
• Mastery of .gitlab-ci.yml (rules, extends, needs, includes, environments).
• Environment-specific variables, merge request pipelines, runners, and Gitflow.
• Experience with CI/CD Components is highly valued.
• GCP (AWS or Azure do not replace it):
• Cloud Run, Cloud Functions 2nd gen, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, Logging/Monitoring, and VPC.
• IAM with least privilege and Workload Identity Federation (OIDC), without JSON keys.
• IaC: maintenance and debugging of Terraform or OpenTofu pipelines.
• Containers: multi-stage Docker, distroless and non-root images, and vulnerability scanning. Buildah or Kaniko is valued.
• Kubernetes/GitOps: operation of GKE, ArgoCD, and Helm.
• DevSecOps: SAST, dependency, secret, and container scanners, and runtime secret management.
• Base: solid Bash (with jq), advanced Git, and technical English reading skills.
