YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES

We are seeking an energetic, internationally-minded teacher committed to academic excellence, inclusive practice, and holistic education. You will teach IBDP/MYP Individuals & Societies, inspiring students from grade 6 to 12 to become creative and critical thinkers.

  • Instruction : Teach IBDP/IBMYP Individuals & Societies, fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment where students of all backgrounds and profiles feel represented and supported.
  • Development : Lead the development of inquiry-based and conceptually driven curriculum units.
  • Engagement : Motivate and inspire students to be actively engaged in their own learning.
  • Support : Promote student well-being and academic growth across a diverse range of motivations and abilities.
  • Collaboration : Plan collaboratively across disciplines and participate in the school’s ambitious and dynamic community.
  • Specialized Teaching : Ideally contribute to Theory of Knowledge (ToK) instruction, Personal Project, Extended Essay and CAS

Your profile

YOUR QUALIFICATION

  • Education : Teaching certification, preferably with a Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience : Experience teaching IBDP/IBMYP programme or similar backgrounds (AP, A-Level, IGCSE); international school experience is a plus.
  • Communication : Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Profile : Innovative, connected, creative, and proactive professional with a high level of initiative.

OUR OFFER

  • Location : Kleinmachnow (Berlin region)
  • Contracttype : Full-time (30 teaching units per week / 40 working hours per week)
  • Start date : 1st. August 2026

Limited initially until 31st July 2028

  • Vacation : 60 days per year, taken during school holidays
  • Salary range : €55,059 - €61,884.91 gross/year (based on experience/classification) plus annual CPI-based adjustments / potential responsibility stipends
