Sr. HSE Assistant in Oil Industry - Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut

An important company in the sector is looking for a Sr. HSE Assistant to provide technical support to operations regarding Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment.

We are looking for a profile with solid field experience, the ability to identify and manage risks, accompany operational teams, and actively contribute to compliance with HSE standards, current regulations, and client requirements.

Main challenges:

• Provide technical advice to operational teams and supervisors regarding Safety, Health, and Environment.
• Perform inspections, audits, and risk assessments at operational bases and client locations.
• Participate in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, collaborating in cause analysis and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with procedures, work permits, use of PPE, and safety standards.
• Prepare reports, indicators, and HSE management statistics.
• Participate in the implementation and monitoring of corporate Safety, Health, and Environment programs.
• Collaborate in internal and external audits, as well as in the management of Integrated Systems.
• Participate in training, inductions, drills, and activities linked to emergency plans.
• Detect opportunities for improvement and promote a preventive culture and safe work practices across different operations.

Requirements:

• Technician or Bachelor's degree in Safety and Hygiene. Professionals from related careers with specific training in Safety and Hygiene will also be considered.
• More than 5 years of experience in HSE / Safety and Hygiene positions within the oil industry.
• Verifiable experience in inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigation.
• Knowledge of applicable legislation and Integrated Management Systems.
• Advanced English, with the ability to hold conversations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Artificial Intelligence tools.
• Valid driver's license (mandatory).
• Availability to visit oil fields and travel to other regions of the country.

It will be valued:

• Certification or experience as a Trinorma (QHSE) Internal Auditor.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience or knowledge in JDE.
• Experience in the implementation and monitoring of corporate HSE programs.
