BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a FREE forty (40) hour training program incorporating basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for PCA/ Direct Care Worker, DCW , graduate to provide care for adults in our Assistive Care State Programs practice. $ 13 per hr

Qualifications for Direct Care Workers, DCW:

Successfully complete 40 Hour Direct Care Worker Course, provided by BAYADA

Job Responsibilities for Direct Care Workers, DCW:

Activities of daily living

Light housekeeping

Bathing

Grooming

Toileting

Nail care

Range of motion / exercises

Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices

Oral feeding

Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.

Assisting with ambulation

Medication assistance
