This is what we need from you:

In the core topic "Renewable Energies," you will primarily deal with potential analysis for the generation of renewable energies, as well as with the development of energy management systems for the federal road transport infrastructure and the resulting implications.

Your own activities will focus on:

• Conception, planning, implementation, and evaluation of studies on the generation, use, and energy management of renewable energies in the road infrastructure sector

• Issues regarding the equipping of operational service vehicles with emission-free drives, including the energetic life cycle analysis and corresponding assessment of sustainability

• Further development of research project contents and an energy system analysis tool

• Technical supervision of internal and external scientific projects

• Preparation of scientific reports and publication of research results

• Technical expert opinions and consulting

Your profile:

What you must definitely bring:

• completed scientific university degree (Master or Diploma – Uni/TH) in the field of Physics or Engineering in the area of Renewable Energies, Energy Management, or a comparable discipline

What distinguishes you:

• experience in the conception, implementation, and management of research projects

• good knowledge in the areas of renewable energies and energy management/energy system analysis

• knowledge in the field of road infrastructure/operational service

• willingness for your own scientific qualification

• planning and organizational skills

• negotiation skills and the ability to persuade through argumentation

• good oral and written expression

• English skills, comparable to language level B2 according to GE

• ability for interdisciplinary cooperation and teamwork

• willingness for multi-day business trips
