MEP Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily maintenance and operation of MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Plan and coordinate routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities. Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime. Supervise technicians, artisans, and external contractors during maintenance activities. Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to required standards. Conduct regular inspections of MEP equipment and building systems. Coordinate repairs and follow up on outstanding maintenance issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, repairs, and service reports. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Monitor the use of maintenance materials, tools, and spare parts. Liaise with management, vendors, and contractors where necessary. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and other maintenance emergencies.

Requirements:

HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of relevant experience in MEP maintenance, facilities management, or building services. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Experience supervising technicians and contractors. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation. Good communication, organizational, and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance activities effectively.
