Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

Design and review firefighting systems in line with applicable standards and project requirements. Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, specifications, and documentation. Supervise firefighting system installation, testing, and commissioning. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved designs and safety standards. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and project teams. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues relating to firefighting systems. Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to specifications and timelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience. Proven experience in firefighting systems design, installation, testing, and maintenance. Good knowledge of relevant firefighting codes, standards, and engineering practices. Proficiency in relevant engineering/design software is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Remuneration: NGN 450,000 – NGN 700,000 gross monthly, depending on experience and qualifications
