START IN - Trainee Program Finance & Controlling with a focus on Finance (m/f/d) (Finanzwirt/in)

WHAT TO EXPECT

With our 18-month trainee program, you will gain comprehensive insight into the various fields of activity in the areas of Finance and Controlling. From the very beginning, you will work on your own projects, in which you can contribute your passion for innovation and further advance topics in the field of Finance or Controlling.

• Your three assignments of six months each, as well as your later target function, will be individually coordinated with you. In doing so, we take your wishes and strengths into account. In each assignment, you will familiarize yourself with the corresponding subject area, such as financing or Mergers & Acquisitions.
• After a short time, you will already take responsibility for exciting projects or initiate them yourself. A technical contact person will always be by your side. Throughout the entire duration of the trainee program, you will receive mentoring, which will strengthen you in your professional and personal development.
• An international assignment allows you to get to know a new culture and gain insights into other ways of working. This allows you to further develop your intercultural competence and build your global network on the side. Here, too, we will coordinate the location individually with you.

The trainee program prepares you optimally for a career in the field of Finance and Controlling. You have the opportunity to work in different areas and positions and to shape your career according to your interests and strengths. Through close cooperation with various stakeholders, the assumption of responsible projects, and contact with Senior Management, trainees, and alumni, you will build a strong network. This lays the foundation for a successful professional future at BASF.

WHAT YOU BRING

We are looking for committed university graduates who set goals independently and are eager to leave their comfort zone. We require the following minimum qualifications:

• Master's degree in the field of economics/business administration
• At least a 3-month internship in Finance and/or Controlling
• At least a 3-month stay abroad (in the form of study semesters or internships abroad)
• A maximum of three years of professional experience
• Fluent English skills are a must, German skills are a plus
