WHAT TO EXPECT

At Agricultural Solutions, we are preparing to become an independent company within the BASF Group. To be well-positioned for this independent future, we are looking for you to support our new Corporate Center (see here: build your career on our Standalone Transformation).

• In your new position, you will continuously define, implement, and develop global standards, governance principles, as well as roles and responsibilities for tax-relevant reporting.
• You will systematically anchor compliance requirements from the areas of tax, law, financial reporting, and data quality into processes and systems.
• Furthermore, you will evaluate and manage reporting-related requirements and solution designs to ensure compliance with defined specifications.
• As a central point of contact, you will make decisions on reporting-relevant issues and manage escalations related to responsibilities, controls, data quality, and process design.
• You will ensure transparent management of reporting through clear responsibilities as well as defined documentation and control standards.
• In close cooperation with relevant stakeholders, you will drive the continuous improvement and sustainable implementation of global governance requirements.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Degree in computer science, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience
• several years of experience in project and/or change management, preferably in an international environment
• sound knowledge in taxation, in the area of Finance Reporting Compliance (FRC), as well as in international tax law
• experience in the design, implementation, and documentation of processes as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• very good English skills, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of working with global teams and various stakeholders worldwide
