Assistant Manager, Application Human Nutrition

Objectives of the Position Innovation & Technical Product Management Vitamins & Carotenoids is a global unit that exists to support the business disciplines of Sales, Product Management and Marketing as well as customers’ technical needs. The major goal is to generate technical preference of customers for our product and service offerings. Additionally, developing a comprehensive understanding of driving technologies and technical needs of our markets to trigger future innovation is key to success. 

Main Tasks •      Steer application laboratories in close alignment with needs from TPM, sales and product management, Coordinate and drive comparative trials and benchmarks. Translate key findings into short communications for sales colleagues in close collaboration with marketing and TPM.

• Perform application trials, analytics and benchmarking (new or existing) in Singapore lab
• Provide technical application support to Technical Services/ Sales

•      Responsible for Singapore laboratory, including personnel, EHS, teaching and lab management •      Keep close exchange with main stakeholders on existing projects

Requirements •      Bachelor of Science with at least 5 years of industry experience in food, pharma or chemical industry preferred •      Experience with consumer products and translating customer performance requests into technical specifications •      Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with a high level of problem-solving capabilities

*This will be a contractual position for 3 months only.
