Test Automation Engineer
Tribedo is looking for a Test Engineer in Helsinki for a fixed-term position for a client.
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for both manual and automation testing. You will design and document test cases, perform exploratory, integration (API), and end-to-end testing, as well as analyze detected errors and prioritize testing tasks. In this role, you will also get to design, build, and maintain test automation and develop quality assurance practices as part of an agile product development team.
Success in this role requires a holistic understanding of business processes. Proficiency in UI testing alone is not enough; you must be able to examine the application's functionality from a broader perspective and ensure the quality of solutions throughout the entire development lifecycle.
We expect from you:
Experience in manual and automation testing
The ability to design and build a maintainable test automation environment from scratch
Experience in designing, documenting, and implementing test cases
Proficiency in API and end-to-end testing
A good understanding of testing business processes
The ability to utilize AI and LLM-based solutions in developing testing and automation
The ability to evaluate the quality, security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of AI and agent-based solutions
Excellent collaboration and communication skills in an international environment
An independent working style and the ability to operate in ambiguous situations
Fluent English skills; knowledge of Finnish is considered a strong advantage
Additionally, experience in the following will be considered an advantage:
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Security Top 10 principles
Understanding of key data quality dimensions (accuracy, integrity, completeness, timeliness, and traceability)
Understanding of performance testing and service scalability
Experience with complex business-critical systems, especially from the financial sector
Experience working in an international operating environment
The position is fixed-term for the period 2.11.2026-30.9.2027. The work requires presence at the office approximately 50% of the working time. The workplace is located in Helsinki.
