Receptionist, Magical Pond Ruka

Do you want to work in a unique luxury resort on Rukatunturi in the middle of nature?

Magical Pond is a high-end, intimate hotel serving international guests, offering experiential accommodation to international customers. We are now looking for a RECEPTIONIST for the winter season from mid-November to the end of March.

Magical Pond is a small and high-quality resort where customers meet our staff daily. In this role, you will be a visible part of the customer's entire visit experience and one of the resort's most important faces.

We are looking for a person who enjoys being around people, notices things happening around them, and takes initiative. Sometimes you will help at the reception, sometimes in the lounge, sometimes taking care of the yard areas, or solving something that makes the customer's daily life easier. Most importantly for us, you are happy to jump into different work tasks!

The job includes morning and evening shifts at the reception as well as diverse daily resort tasks, such as:

• customer service at the reception and check-ins and check-outs using the hotel system Mewsi.
• advising customers and ensuring their comfort
• lounge bar service tasks if necessary
• daily practical tasks to support the resort's operations
• small-scale maintenance of outdoor areas, such as snow removal during the winter season

We expect from you:

• previous experience in reception work; use of Mewsi is considered an advantage, but training for the system will be provided if necessary.
• excellent customer service attitude and natural interaction skills
• fluent English language skills
• readiness to work in diverse tasks in a small resort
• a valid driver's license. Considering the location of the workplace, we hope you are an applicant with a car.
• hygiene and alcohol service certificates
• knowledge or experience in the restaurant industry is considered an advantage
