Architectural Interns

We are always looking to extend our team with highly creative individuals.

You develop and monitor the PR and communication strategy of Barcode Architects and align this with the management and partners. You are responsible for the associated budget and results, such as press reach, media value, and brand awareness. You provide functional leadership to a junior employee and ensure that stories from the office and events are translated into press releases, publications, and social media content. You build and maintain a network of journalists, editors, and other relevant media, and identify opportunities to bring our work to national and international attention.

You will be given a lot of space and responsibility in this role. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works independently, and also knows how to efficiently set up and monitor internal communication.

• Developing and implementing the PR and communication strategy, including budget and result responsibility (press reach, media value, brand awareness)
• Providing support to Business Development, particularly in the field of marketing and communication.
• Leading a junior employee.
• Aligning strategy and results with management and partners.
• Writing and editing press releases, award submissions, publications, and social media content.
• Translating complex projects into engaging stories for different target groups.
• Creating and supervising events such as exhibitions and workshops.
• Building and maintaining relationships with journalists and editors, and representing Barcode Architects at events, conferences, and press activities.
• Maintaining the Barcode website and socials, and supervising photography regarding our projects (on location yourself when necessary).
