OPERATIONS MANAGER (M/F)

As an international leader in technological solutions dedicated to the energy transition, our Group supports operators of methanization, biogas, and energy production units in optimizing their installations throughout their entire life cycle. Present in many countries, we rely on expert teams to offer a complete range of services: preventive and curative maintenance, technical assistance, retrofit, laboratory services, supply of spare parts, and installation performance support.

In a context of growth in our activities in France and in order to support the evolution of our organization, we are creating a strategic position of OPERATIONS MANAGER.

Reporting to the Renewable Gas Operations Director, you will initially take responsibility for the commercial development of all our Services activities. As your responsibilities increase, you will progressively expand your scope to contribute to the global management of the entity. You will then coordinate all services to guarantee collective performance, customer satisfaction, safety, and the profitability of activities.

In this capacity, you will:

• Define and deploy the commercial development strategy for all Services activities
• Develop close relationships with customers in order to retain and grow the existing portfolio, secure renewals, develop recurring sales, and identify new growth opportunities
• Support sales representatives in the field, participate in strategic meetings, and lead commercial and contractual negotiations
• Lead, support, and develop a sales team
• Work in close collaboration with the Maintenance, After-Sales Service, Laboratory, Sales Administration, and support functions to ensure effective coordination of activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and organization

As part of your evolution toward the Operations Manager function, you will progressively be required to:

• Coordinate the managers of the different services, streamline interfaces between teams, and arbitrate operational situations
• Implement and monitor the main operational performance KPI
• Drive the economic performance of the entity by monitoring turnover, margin, budget, forecast, and main cost items, and contribute to actions allowing for the improvement of activity profitability
• Strengthen the HSE and safety culture within the teams
• Be regularly present in the field with the teams and travel to customers in France

With higher education, you have proven experience in the commercial development of industrial services, team management, and activity management. Experience in the renewable gas, energy, maintenance, or technical services sectors will be a real asset.

As a hands-on manager, you enjoy being present in the field, supporting teams on a daily basis, and creating links between different professions. You know how to establish a climate of trust, unite expert teams, coordinate several managers, and arbitrate with discernment in an environment where reactivity, quality of service, safety, performance, and customer satisfaction are essential.

You are also comfortable with managing economic and operational indicators and know how to frame your actions within a logic of continuous improvement and sustainable profitability.

Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) is indispensable; proficiency in German is an asset.
