Lion Finance Group plc is looking for a highly motivated Group Budgeting Manager to join the Group Financial Reporting Department.

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

Reporting to: Head of Group Budgeting

Own the budgeting pack for an assigned portfolio of subsidiaries, with deep review and analysis of their budgets. Serve as the primary Holding Company contact for these subsidiaries on budgeting matters

Oversee and manage the preparation of budget analytical reports, ensuring the organization and summarization of complex data, identifying trends and variances, and providing in-depth analysis to support management's decision-making process

Lead and manage the annual budgeting cycle, as well as periodic forecasts and re-forecasts, for the assigned subsidiaries

Take full responsibility for the monthly budget vs. actual reporting process for the assigned portfolio

Manage the quarterly budget review and forecast update process for the assigned subsidiaries

Support the Head of Group Budgeting in coordinating the overall budgeting calendar and inputs across subsidiaries and business lines

Develop, implement, and improve budgeting procedures and templates

Supervise and support the team in the preparation of ad-hoc requests for management and business lines

Participation in significant acquisition transactions; due diligence process and bond issuance transaction supporting

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, with a Major in Finance. Master's degree is an advantage

ACCA or CFA qualification is strongly preferred; part-qualification with commitment to completion is acceptable

Experience

Minimum 6–10 years of progressive experience in budgeting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or financial reporting, of which at least 3 years in a banking or financial services environment

Demonstrated experience in owning end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes

Skills

Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively — as needed for sound budgeting and forecasting

Working knowledge of IFRS and banking budgeting parameters, banking analyses

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with budgeting/consolidation tools is an advantage

Familiarity with AI-assisted financial analysis tools and automation in budgeting workflows is considered an advantage

Ability to manage priorities effectively, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines

High attention to detail combined with the ability to transform complex financial information into clear, decision-ready outputs

Ability to work closely with senior management and assist with their requests

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
