Lead Workplace Safety & Health Compliance Across Major Building Construction Projects

Company: Leading A1 Main Contractor Position: Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) / WSHO cum ECO Working Week: Monday – Saturday, 5.5 Days per Week Salary: SGD 6,500 – SGD 8,000 (Highly Negotiable) Project Types: Commercial | Healthcare | Industrial | High-Rise Buildings | Mixed-Use Developments Project Location: Singapore Eligibility: Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Singapore. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and monitor workplace safety and health policies across building construction sites.
• Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments and safety audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive safety measures.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents and near misses, preparing reports and corrective action plans.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and training for site personnel and subcontractors.
• Liaise with MOM, project teams and relevant authorities on safety compliance and inspections.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) Certificate and MOM Registration — Mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction safety experience, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor.
• Experience in large-scale Building Construction projects, including commercial, industrial or high-rise developments.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations, risk management and construction safety requirements.
• Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, incident investigations and safety training.
• Good communication, leadership and reporting skills, with the ability to enforce safety standards on-site.
• Additional Requirement for WSHO cum ECO: Relevant Environmental Control Officer (ECO) qualification and registration, where required for the assigned project.
