Lead Civil & Structural Design Management Across Major Building Construction Projects

Company: Leading A1 Main Contractor Position: C&S Design Manager Working Week: Monday – Friday, 5 Days per Week Salary: Up to SGD 12,000 per Month (Highly Negotiable) Project Types: Commercial | Healthcare | Industrial | Data Centres | High-Rise Buildings | Mixed-Use Developments Project Location: Singapore Eligibility: Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage Civil & Structural design activities throughout the project design and construction stages.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, M&E teams and subcontractors to ensure effective multidisciplinary design integration.
• Review structural drawings, design calculations and technical submissions for compliance with project requirements.
• Manage design schedules, technical queries and design changes to support construction progress and project milestones.
• Liaise with Qualified Persons (QPs), authorities and project stakeholders on design approvals and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and design solutions to resolve structural engineering and construction-related challenges.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant C&S design experience, including design management or coordination responsibilities.
• Strong experience in large-scale Building Construction projects, preferably with an A1 Main Contractor.
• Good knowledge of structural design, engineering calculations, technical submissions and Singapore building regulations.
• Experience coordinating with design consultants, QPs, authorities and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong leadership, technical coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex design requirements.
