Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The role is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper cash control, and providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in cashiering or customer service is an advantage
- Basic math and computer/POS skills
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Friendly, communicative, and customer-focused
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good English skills
Job Descriptions:
- Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Process cash, credit/debit card, and other payment transactions
- Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of the shift
- Ensure accuracy in billing and reporting discrepancies when needed
- Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
- Follow company procedures for cash handling and security
- Provide basic product or service information to customers
- Cooperate with the team and maintain good communication with the supervisor
