Are you ready to further develop your tax knowledge within an international law firm? The Corporate & International Tax section serves listed multinationals and large enterprises in the field of mergers and reorganizations, demergers, and all aspects involved in national and international tax planning. They advise, assist, and litigate where necessary, in close cooperation with notary and legal colleagues from other sections and with colleagues from Baker McKenzie offices worldwide. The team consists of 25 tax specialists and is part of the Tax section, in which 55 tax specialists, attorneys, and economists work together.

Function

The work has a strong international character, in which you primarily communicate in English. You will work in an engaged and ambitious team, where there is plenty of room for professional development, individual initiative, and responsibility. In addition to collaborating with colleagues in Amsterdam, you will work with specialists from other Baker McKenzie offices worldwide.

Upon your arrival, you will follow the NOB training, with the additional possibility to pursue training to become an attorney. As part of the team, but also of Baker McKenzie as a whole, you can participate in various national and international (social) activities.

Your activities consist of, among other things:

• Advising and guiding the structuring of the international and Dutch activities of multinationals;
• Advising and guiding "supply chain" structures;
• Advising and guiding mergers, reorganizations, demergers; and
• Assisting clients in tax litigation.
