Are you ready to further develop your tax knowledge within an international law firm? As a Junior Associate Indirect Tax at Baker McKenzie, you will work on complex VAT and customs issues for leading companies worldwide. For years, our section has combined in-depth tax expertise with a pragmatic approach. They advise, assist, and litigate where necessary, in close cooperation with the notary and legal colleagues of the Corporate Law section and with colleagues from Baker McKenzie offices worldwide.

The Indirect Tax team advises listed multinationals and large and medium-sized enterprises on various consumption tax issues. Additionally, within Baker McKenzie, the team plays a pioneering role in the further expansion of the global VAT and customs practice. The team consists of 19 tax specialists and tax economists and is part of the Tax section, in which 62 tax specialists, lawyers, and economists work together.

Function

The work has a strong international character, in which you will primarily communicate in English. You will work in a dedicated and ambitious team, where there is plenty of room for professional development, individual initiative, and responsibility. In addition to collaborating with colleagues in Amsterdam, you will work daily with specialists from other Baker McKenzie offices worldwide.

From your start, you will follow the NOB training, with the additional possibility to pursue training to become a lawyer. As part of the team, but also of Baker McKenzie as a whole, you can participate in various national and international (social) activities.
