Field Professional Assistant
Essential responsibilities:
Demonstrate Baker Hughes and industry safety culture
Responsible for tool handling across OFS well construction (which may include drilling services, completions wellbore interventions, wireline, drilling and completion fluids, and cementing)
Unit rigging up and down with rig systems
Clear communication with integrated remote operation center
Logistics and inventory management at wellsite
Perform product line specific physical tasks
Follow product line specific SOP based on project roles and responsibilities
Qualifications / requirements:
Educational requirements:
High school graduate
Requires experience in at least one of the following areas:
Rig operations
Ideally this experience would be gained in an oilfield services and equipment and/or rig contractor company. Internal pipeline could include PP (TRS, CT, CEM, Frac), WLS, FES and ALS field operators.
Mechanical or electrical apprenticeship
Relevant experience in an oilfield services and equipment maintenance and/or manufacturing technician role
Skills obtained in an industry-relevant technical degree
Communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Able to work in onshore, offshore and/or remote locations
Teamwork skills
Basic computer skills
Desired characteristics / skills:
Proficient written and oral English communication
Good personal organizational skills
