International Trade Compliance Manager

Your future challenge
The role of International Trade Compliance Manager involves, among other things:
- being the company's primary expert on, among other things, export control, and as such provide advice in national and international export control matters within the company's operations;
- reviewing and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and group requirements in all countries where the company does business;
- on behalf of the company, handling permit applications, agreements, and end-user certificates with applicable Swedish and foreign authorities;
- monitoring and implementing documentation according to applicable legislation and group requirements;
- leading cross-functional groups/projects within the area within the company;
- training line managers and employees within all the company's departments; developing the unit's processes and routines in the area;
- together with colleagues in Sweden and abroad, actively contributing to continuous improvements within the export control area.
The person you are
We are looking for you with an academic education relevant to the position, and with an interest in technology. BAE Systems has a solid training program within export control. Previous work experience in the field is not a requirement, although it is meritorious. However, you are expected to be perceptive, meticulous, independent, and have good communication skills.
We work in an international environment with many foreign authorities, suppliers, and customers. You are therefore expected to have documented very good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing. The position involves travel in Sweden and abroad.

The unit consists of 11 driven and knowledgeable employees, and we hope that you want to become a part of the unit.
