Job Objective
Manage and coordinate import, export, and domestic transportation operations, ensuring compliance with customs legislation, IMMEX requirements, applicable Incoterms, and supply chain continuity.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate import, export, and domestic transportation operations.
- Manage logistics providers, customs agents, and carriers.
- Review and ensure correct documentation for customs clearance.
- Follow up on shipments and keep internal customers informed regarding the status of operations.
- Manage foreign trade procedures, certificates of origin, and processes in VUCEM.
- Administer import and export files in accordance with current regulations.
- Identify and escalate risks that may affect the operation or the supply of materials.
- Ensure compliance with foreign trade processes, IMMEX, and customer requirements.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in traffic, international logistics, or foreign trade, preferably in the automotive industry.
Knowledge:
- Customs legislation.
- IMMEX.
- Incoterms.
- VUCEM.
- Pedimentos and tariff classification.
- Excel and ERP (SAP desirable).
