The House of Baccarat is recruiting: a Buyer M/F

Within the Purchasing department, your missions will be to:

• Define the purchasing strategy for your scope: Technical and industrial purchases, production supplies & consumables, HSE needs (PPE, waste management, regulatory, multi-service contracts).
• Ensure sourcing in line with business developments and monitoring elements within the reference panel in order to capture innovation & develop new supply sources.
• Negotiate purchasing conditions with referenced partners (price, quality, margin, payment terms, deadlines, etc.) with a permanent focus on optimizing the defined criteria.
• Evolve and manage the supplier panel.
• Define the framework for contracts adapted to the different segments.
• Contractualize and monitor the execution of purchasing contracts for other designated families until their liquidation or renewal, with savings objectives and business security objectives.
• Evaluate suppliers, measure risks (financial, economic, human) and opportunities.
• Manage the activity of your scope and report monthly to your hierarchy on the progress of defined objectives and major challenges.
• Facilitate decision-making through synthetic and reasoned reporting.

EXPECTED COMPETENCIES

• BAC+4/5 with a focus on purchasing
• Professional experience as a buyer in an industrial environment
• Operational English, German is a plus
• Mastery of IT tools: ERP, Excel.
