Must-have:LeadRemote

Clear Admin People helps Australian businesses grow by pairing them with the top 2% of Filipino professionals, the people we call 6-Tool Players. We have been work-from-home since 2020. We build careers, not seats. And we lead our people properly, which is the part that will decide whether you belong here.

The role

You will own how Clear hires, develops, supports and keeps its people. You will build and maintain the HR systems, policies and practices that support our business objectives, and you will partner with management and team leaders to build a productive, engaged and accountable remote workforce. You will advise on people matters, handle the difficult conversations properly, and keep us compliant with Philippine labour law. This is a people and culture leadership role, not an administration desk. It is how Clear stays a place worth staying.

What you will own:

  • HR strategy and administration. HR systems, processes and reports that support management decisions and workforce planning, along with accurate, confidential employee records.
  • The employee lifecycle. Onboarding, regularisation, employment changes and offboarding, including the notices that go with them.
  • Recruitment. Oversee recruitment and selection, workforce planning and sourcing strategies, ensuring hiring targets, costs and timelines are effectively managed.
  • Performance and employee relations. The review cycle, coaching support for managers, and grievances, disciplinary processes and investigations handled fairly and in line with company policy and labor law.
  • Partnership with leaders. Work with Service Delivery Managers and team leaders to strengthen accountability for operational performance management.
  • Culture and engagement. Strengthen organisational culture, employee engagement and wellbeing through initiatives, internal communications, community-building and effective people management practices.
  • Compensation and benefits. Job evaluation and market analysis, employee benefits administration, including HMO and life insurance and oversight of government-mandated benefits in coordination with Finance.
  • Development. Training needs, induction materials, learning resources and development plans built from review outcomes.
  • Policy and compliance. The Employee Handbook, HR policies and procedures, and close watch on changes in Philippine labour regulations.
  • Insight for management. Provide workforce insights and recommendations that improve recruitment, retention, engagement, people management and organisational effectiveness.

Essential Experience

  • At least five years in human resources or people and culture, with at least two years leading a team.
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine labour law and the ability to apply it to real grievances, disciplinary matters and investigations.
  • Experience across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits administration.
  • A track record of building HR policies, systems and reporting, and of turning survey and exit data into action.

Required Attributes

  • The judgement to coach managers and team leaders, and the backbone to hold a position when it is not the popular one.
  • Comfortable working remotely with a Philippine-based leadership team and representing an Australian brand.
  • Discreet with confidential information, independent and reliable on follow-through.
