JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Site Engineer to oversee the installation and completion of Solar PV projects in Singapore.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily Solar PV installation activities.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site workers.
- Monitor project schedules, workmanship, safety and quality.
- Review Solar PV layouts, single-line diagrams and construction drawings.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or installation issues.
- Prepare progress reports, site records and handover documents.
- Ensure works comply with approved drawings and site safety requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers and suppliers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of Solar PV system design is essential.
- Able to read Solar PV layouts, electrical single-line diagrams and technical drawings.
- Experience managing subcontractors and site activities is preferred.
- Candidates must provide references or a portfolio of previous Solar PV projects.
- Knowledge or experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or PVsyst is advantageous.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Must be legally authorised to work in Singapore.
- Fresh graduates with relevant Solar PV qualifications, internships or project experience may be considered.
