Come grow with us! As our portfolio expands, we are looking to make immediate hires for hands on, energetic, General Maintenance Technicians that have an eye for detail and take pride in their work.

As a General Maintenance Technician at B2B Properties, you are surrounded by dedicated individuals who are ready to serve you and help you do your job well. Our mission is to help our employees by improving their work conditions, and therefore improving their performance and job satisfaction.

The General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance of approximately a large scattered site, single and multi-family rental portfolio throughout Cuyahoga County neighborhoods. Fantastic opportunity for someone who doesn't like to sit in one place! During down times, the General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for working alongside team members on remodels and renovations of vacant units, into becoming rent-ready.

Must be able to work full time position Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. No Sundays, On-Call, or other schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• Essential duties include but are not limited to:
• Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry and painting
• Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
• Provide excellent customer service to client, residents and other staff members
• Respond to resident service requests in an accurate and timely manner
• Make ready units for new move-ins
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program annually
• Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping
• Coordinate special projects as directed
• General Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees.
• General Maintenance Technician must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
• Have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems / HVAC Certification a PLUS!
