B&W Laser Cutting and Fabrication Ltd is a growing custom metal fabrication and laser cutting company serving manufacturers across Ontario. We provide precision laser cutting, forming, drilling & tapping, welding, fabrication, prototyping, CAD design, and complete assemblies for customers in a variety of industries.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Business Development Manager who can build relationships within the manufacturing sector and help expand our customer base across Ontario.

This is not a high-volume call center sales role. We are looking for a relationship-focused professional who can understand manufacturing needs, identify opportunities, and develop long-term customer partnerships.

*What You'll Do*

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing, OEM, agricultural, construction, industrial, and equipment-building sectors.
  • Build relationships with Purchasing Managers, Plant Managers, Operations Managers, Engineers, and business owners.
  • Conduct customer visits and represent B&W at manufacturing facilities throughout Ontario.
  • Follow up on quotations and identify opportunities to win new and recurring business.
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline using CRM software.
  • Work closely with our estimating, production, and management teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying additional fabrication, welding, forming, and assembly opportunities.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with machine shops, engineering firms, and industrial suppliers.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows as required.

*What We're Looking For Preferred Experience*

  • 3+ years of business development, account management, or sales experience.
  • Experience working within manufacturing, fabrication, industrial, steel, automation, tooling, engineering, or industrial supply sectors.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Experience selling to manufacturing decision-makers, including purchasing, operations, engineering, or management teams.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable conducting in-person customer meetings and facility visits.

*Additional Assets*

  • Knowledge of fabrication, welding, laser cutting, machining, or manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Existing network within Ontario's manufacturing industry.

Within your first year, you will:

  • Generate qualified opportunities with new manufacturing customers.
  • Build a strong pipeline of recurring production work.
  • Develop strategic customer relationships.
  • Help increase B&W's presence within Ontario's manufacturing sector.

Pay: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
