The position:

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Project Quality Engineer to work for one of our clients, a recognized player in the maritime sector. The position is initially based near Marseille (13), where you will participate in project preparation, before joining the teams on-site in Sweden to support the implementation phase.

You will join a large-scale project related to water treatment. You will be responsible for implementing the quality policy throughout the preparation and execution phases of the works.

Your main missions are listed below:

• Develop, implement, and monitor the project's quality procedures and standards.
• Elaborate, in collaboration with the construction and engineering teams, quality control plans, inspection and test plans (ITP), as well as the quality documents necessary for the smooth running of the project.

• Coordinate inspection points with project teams, the construction manager, and the client when necessary.
• Support the procurement teams in the selection and evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure their compliance with the project's quality requirements.

• Review and validate the Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) developed by subcontractors.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all quality control activities, inspections, and tests carried out on the project.

• Monitor non-conformities, ensure their processing within the specified deadlines, and guarantee the implementation of corrective actions.
• Write quality reports and audit reports, while actively participating in the resolution of critical issues encountered on the project.

Profile sought:

• You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Quality, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in project quality within an EPC, EPCM environment or an industrial construction company.

• You have mastered quality management systems as well as inspection, quality control, and non-conformity management processes.
• You have experience in drafting and monitoring Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), quality procedures, and associated documentation.

• Experience in maritime, port, offshore, or civil engineering projects is a real asset.
• You demonstrate autonomy, rigor, organization, and enjoy working in an agile structure within international project teams.

• Professional English is essential, both spoken and written, in order to operate in an international context.
• Good knowledge of quality standards (notably ISO 9001) is an additional asset.
