Your tasks

  • Perform database testing and related activities across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle using tools such as DBeaver and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Build and maintain automated tests using Python (pandas, pytest) and test automation frameworks.
  • Validate data quality using tools such as Great Expectations and Soda.
  • Test data warehouse and lakehouse solutions, including dimensional models, Star Schema, and data marts.
  • Perform data reconciliation between systems using SQL, pandas, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Test big data processing built on Apache Spark and PySpark.
  • Test APIs using Postman.
  • Test BI reports and dashboards in Power BI and Tableau.
  • Validate data pipelines orchestrated with Apache Airflow.
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and manage test code with Git and GitHub.
  • Manage test cases, execution, and defects using Jira, Xray, and TestRail.
  • Work within the SDLC following Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Contribute to performance and security testing, and support compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years or more of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • 3 years or more in database testing and related activities
  • Proven experience in Saudi enterprise or government/public sector projects.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and programming languages
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and database testing
  • Experience in performance and security testing is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards is preferred.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English is required
