Company Overview AZE Badminton Academy is a Singapore-based academy dedicated to developing badminton skills, confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship through structured training and quality coaching for players of all levels. Job Summary You will deliver structured badminton coaching tailored to students’ abilities, fostering skill development, confidence, and a passion for the sport in a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct group and individual badminton lessons following assigned programmes and schedules Plan and deliver progressive training sessions covering footwork, racket skills, stroke techniques, court movement, and match play Adapt drills and explanations to suit students’ ages, abilities, and learning needs Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement, set goals, and monitor progress Provide constructive feedback to build student confidence and encourage consistent improvement Maintain safe training practices, supervise appropriately, and uphold professional boundaries, especially with children Communicate clearly and respectfully with students, parents, and colleagues about training and progress Keep accurate attendance records and coaching documentation Support student assessments, holiday programmes, academy events, and tournament preparations as assigned Collaborate with fellow coaches to maintain consistent coaching standards and share effective teaching methods Uphold AZE’s values of professionalism, integrity, punctuality, and sportsmanship Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience coaching badminton, especially with children or youth Strong badminton playing foundation with good understanding of techniques, footwork, and tactics Ability to demonstrate skills clearly and explain concepts in an understandable way Patience, reliability, and genuine interest in student development Effective communication and class management skills Ability to conduct on-court demonstrations, shuttle feeding, and coaching activities safely Willingness to receive feedback, develop coaching skills, and collaborate with the team Availability to work the coaching schedule and travel between training venues Relevant coaching qualifications, National Registry of Coaches registration, and valid first aid or CPR/AED certification are advantageous Other Information Apply through MyCareersFuture with résumé including badminton playing and coaching experience, certifications, availability, and a brief introduction AZE is committed to fair, merit-based recruitment and welcomes applicants regardless of age, race, gender, religion, marital status, family responsibilities, or disability Contact email: aze.benson@gmail.com Contact phone: +65 98101000
