Location: Bolton, Hybrid and 1pm finish on a Friday Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are exclusively supporting a well-established international business with the appointment of a Finance Business Partner/FP&A Analyst at their Bolton site. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the UK FP&A agenda and provide meaningful financial insight across the wider business.

Reporting into the European FD, you will work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering and Finance. We are looking for someone with experience across FP&A and Finance Business Partnering, who is confident working with senior stakeholders and able to translate financial data into clear, commercial insight.

Advanced Excel skills are essential, while experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be highly advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for a broad, commercially focused role within a successful international organisation, with genuine exposure to the wider operation.

The role:

• Budgeting & forecasting
• Monthly reporting
• Variance analysis and operational performance reporting
• Detailed analysis of sales, margins, overheads, payroll, headcount, capacity and operational costs
• Reporting on financial performance
• Challenging stakeholders where appropriate and supporting initiatives to improve business performance.
• Knowledge of systems such as SAP, OneStream or Power BI, together with experience of standard costing, inventory or operational cost analysis, would also be beneficial but is not essential.
