Take responsibility for today's business – and influence how we compete tomorrow.

Eurenco Bofors AB is in an exciting phase of strong growth, both in Sweden and internationally. In Karlskoga, approximately 470 employees work to develop and produce advanced propellants and explosives for both civilian and military applications. As part of an international group with operations in several European countries, we are simultaneously a local operation with a clear role in a global organization. At the same time, we are developing how we manage and develop our business, with a clearer focus on programs, product lines, and long-term competitiveness.

We are now seeking a Sales & Program / Product Line Manager within Propellants – a role for you who wants to combine business, customer relations, and product strategy with the opportunity to influence how the business develops moving forward. Here, you will not only be responsible for driving today's business and developing customer relations. You will also become an important link between the market and our internal organization and are expected to actively contribute to how we develop our product portfolio, working methods, and future business.

"This is a role for you who want to be involved and make a real impact. We are in a development phase where we need to think anew, challenge our working methods, and at the same time build upon what works well. Therefore, we are looking for a person who is confident in themselves, has strong business drive, and who can bring others along on the journey." – Jonas Sohlin, Business Unit Director Propellants.

Where business, customer, and development meet

As Sales & Program / Product Line Manager, you will have a broad and cross-functional role where you move between customer, business, product, and organization. You need to be able to understand the customer's needs, see business opportunities, and simultaneously translate these into the right internal priorities.

You will work closely with, among others, production, R&D, supply chain, and finance, and serve as an important link between customer needs, internal operations, and long-term business development.

As Sales & Program Manager, you will, among other things:

Drive and develop long-term customer relations and partnerships. Be responsible for the sales process – from inquiry to delivery and follow-up. Prepare quotations and negotiate contracts. Coordinate internal flows with production, R&D, supply chain, and finance. Follow up on business results, forecasts, deliveries, risks, and opportunities.

As Product Line Manager, you will, among other things:

Analyze market, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, to then translate this into commercial and strategic priorities. Identify opportunities to develop production processes and the product portfolio. Contribute to and drive strategic decisions regarding product portfolio, pricing, and positioning. Drive development initiatives that strengthen the product area's long-term competitiveness. Translate market and customer insights into concrete business development.

A role for you who want to influence

To succeed in the role, you need to enjoy taking responsibility and driving issues forward. You find it easy to build trust, create engagement, and get different functions to work towards the same goal. You therefore need to be able to combine clarity and drive with perceptiveness and collaborative ability, and be comfortable navigating in a complex and changing environment where you switch between strategic issues and operational details.

We believe you have:

Academic education or equivalent experience. Experience in B2B sales within industry. Experience with complex deals and long-term customer relations. Experience working cross-functionally and driving issues together with multiple parts of an organization. Ability to balance customer, commercial goals, and long-term competitiveness. Experience with SAP or similar business systems. Fluent English in speech and writing.

Meritorious is:

Experience in international trade. Experience from the defense industry.

The role is located in Karlskoga, but you will work daily in an international environment with teams, customers, and colleagues in several countries. You thrive in a dynamic market with cultural differences and rapid changes.
