About Axiom Education

Axiom Education is a tuition centre in Holland Village specialising in the IP, IB, IGCSE, A Level and O Level syllabuses. Every school teaches the same subject differently, so our 1 to 1 sessions are built around each student's own school syllabus and weak areas. We pair students with tutors who have recently been through the same curriculum, because the best person to explain an exam is someone who just aced it.

The Role

• Conduct 1 to 1 sessions tailored to each student's school syllabus and weak topics
• Track each student's progress and adjust your lessons as they improve
• Go the extra mile: check in before a big test, share an extra practice set, or flag a concern early so we can support the student together
• Join in our marketing as part of the role, helping create content for our social media such as study tips and subject explainers

What You'll Teach

You only need to be strong in the subjects and levels you teach.

• Lower Secondary (IP / G2 / G3): Mathematics, Science
• Upper Secondary (IP / G2 / G3 / IGCSE): A Math, C/E Math, Physics, Chemistry, Economics
• JC 1 to 2: H1/H2 Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics
• IB Year 5 to 6 / Grade 11 to 12: HL/SL Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics

Pay and Schedule

$30/hr 2 to 5 days a week, on the days you choose Our centre is open 4 PM to 9 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 6 PM on weekends. Tell us when you are free and we will schedule your classes within those hours

Who We're Looking For

• Currently studying at or recently graduated from a university in Singapore
• Strong grades in the subjects you want to teach at O Level, A Level or IB. Candidates who have personally gone through A Level or IB are strongly preferred
• Able to commit to a recurring weekly schedule
• Patient and clear: you enjoy explaining, not just knowing
• You genuinely care about your students and want to see them succeed
• Comfortable appearing in or helping with social media content
