DELIVERY HELPER

Your tasks

A Delivery Helper (sometimes called a pahinante or logistics assistant) supports the delivery driver in safely, accurately, and timely transporting and unloading goods to customers or job sites.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Loading & Unloading: Help load, stack, and secure products in the delivery vehicle, and carry or unload items at customer locations.
• Order & Document Verification: Check items against sales invoices, delivery receipts, or manifests to ensure correct quantities and product types.

• Route Navigation: Assist the driver with directions, maps, or GPS tools to locate delivery addresses.
• Customer Service: Greet customers politely, assist with product placement or set-up if required, and obtain delivery signatures or payment acknowledgments.

• Vehicle & Safety Maintenance: Assist with pre-trip/post-trip truck inspections, clean the vehicle, and follow strict site and road safety guidelines.
