At AXA, you will take over the leadership of Financial Liability and, together with your team, develop future-proof solutions for demanding claim cases.

What awaits you

• Disciplinary and professional leadership of the Financial Liability / Fidelity Insurance department with seven colleagues
• Ensuring uniform, high-quality, and legally secure claims processing, including professional consultations, approval of payments, and decisions on coverage denials
• Management of workload distribution within the department, prioritization of new claims, and handling of special and fundamental topics
• Conducting professional supervision of multiple agents with settlement authority
• Regular exchange with operations and sales departments as well as division controlling, particularly regarding large claims and participation in changes to terms and conditions
• Development, coaching, and support of employees within the framework of their professional and personal development
• Planning, supporting, and implementing OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) to achieve strategic group goals within your own area of responsibility
• Planning and conducting training events to ensure the required IDD hours in accordance with the Insurance Distribution Directive

What you bring with you

• Several years of leadership experience, ideally in comparable claims or expert teams
• Sound knowledge in Financial Liability and/or the settlement of large and complex claims
• Successfully completed legal studies (2. Staatsexamen / Volljurist:in)
• Experience in project and stakeholder management
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills as well as clear, confident communication
• The ability to convey complex content in an understandable, convincing, and audience-appropriate manner
• Strong social competence, entrepreneurial thinking, as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good written and spoken English skills
