Your tasks
An opening exists for a Quantity Surveyor, willing to take up the following responsibilities, in a multi-racial working environment and short turnaround time requirements.
- Tender estimation and costing.
- Quantity take-off, estimation, cost planning, subcontracting, Variation Orders and Final Accounts with Clients.
- To review the progress of all on-going projects and preparation of monthly progress claim submissions to Clients; as well as evaluates and prepares Subcontractors’ claims.
- Undertaking duties/assignments as and when appropriately assigned by the HOD/Superior.
Requirements
- Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Tender and Quantity Surveying Works.
- Able to read and understand Drawings well.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in costing and estimating construction projects.
- Knowledge of Standard Conditions of Contracts and Sub-contracts.
- Knowledge of Structural Steelworks will be an advantage.
- High proficiency with Microsoft office software in Excel and Word.
- With good interpersonal and communication skills.
