Human Resource Associate
About the company
ALG is currently hiring a HR Associate for our client, a global aerospace and engineering company based in Singapore. This is an opportunity supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee administration and HR services within a multinational environment.
Your tasks
- Handle HR administration, including employee records, new hires, terminations, transfers, compensation changes and employment documentation.
- Coordinate work pass applications, renewals and cancellations, liaising with internal departments and external vendors.
- Support recruitment administration, interview scheduling, candidate database management, background checks and onboarding/offboarding.
- Administer employee benefits, medical and insurance claims, leave and timekeeping systems, and respond to HR-related enquiries.
- Coordinate training administration, maintain training records and support government manpower surveys and reporting.
- Maintain accurate HR data and personnel files in compliance with applicable employment regulations and internal procedures.
- Support company transport arrangements, visitor registration, internship administration and other general HR duties as required.
Requirements
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in HR operations or administration; multinational company experience would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms, preferably PeopleSoft or similar systems.
- Knowledge of Singapore employment regulations and HR administrative processes.
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with good attention to detail.
- Able to handle confidential information responsibly, manage competing priorities and work collaboratively with different stakeholders.
