Your Tasks

  • Exercise product responsibility for the assigned component spectrum (Nacelles/ Airframe Related Components); create and release maintenance documentation; define in-house developments, repairs, modifications, and tests; perform and implement calculations
  • Handle coordination and communication of technical issues between the parties involved: production, administration, customers, management
  • Track and investigate malfunctions, technical complaints, and limit exceedances, as well as initiate corrective measures
  • Identify optimization potential in the maintenance process; develop concepts for alternatives; evaluate solution concepts technically and economically; develop and implement action plans
  • Process projects, lead sub-projects. Handle special tasks
  • Conduct know-how exchange with other BUs of the LHT group

Your Profile

  • Completed university/technical college degree as an engineer, preferably in the field of aircraft construction/aviation technology or mechanical engineering, or in individual cases, proven equivalent qualifications
  • Good knowledge of business administration fundamentals and connections
  • Knowledge of aviation legislation
  • Good knowledge of aircraft/equipment maintenance
  • Knowledge in the area of manufacturing, properties, and design of fiber composite and sandwich structures
  • Very good English skills
  • Good IT skills (3D-CAD systems such as Solid Works or CATIA, MS-Office, SAP R/3)
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good negotiation skills, assertiveness, and high persuasiveness
