Your Tasks

  • Technical leadership, coordination, and instruction of employees, taking into account scheduling and economic aspects
  • Supporting specialist departments (e.g., Engineering in the design of modifications and repair solutions, Sales, coordination with OEM, etc.)
  • Coordinating structural modifications within the framework of prototype installations and series production starts
  • Determining the workload for rectifying unplanned complaints in the specialist field as well as indicating the required support from other specialist departments
  • Initiating orders for work equipment and tools in coordination with the supervisor
  • Monitoring the care and maintenance of equipment, ensuring unrestricted operational capability, and identifying necessary measures in case of deviations
  • Inspecting/assessing the aircraft structure and defining the repair measures to be carried out within the framework of aircraft documentation
  • Preparing and performing field service (e.g., performing repairs, installing modifications, etc.); in coordination with customer service, supervisors, and work preparation
  • Performing complex structural work/complaint rectification/repairs (e.g., leading extensive repairs after crashes, extensive modifications to the primary structure, etc.) in the entire aircraft structure of various models
  • Documenting completed work in paper form or in user-specific software (e.g., Excel application, SAP etc.); according to VA-AA 18/03
  • Preparing/setting up testing/assembly equipment/tools; if necessary, performing maintenance and cleaning work on hand tools
  • Checking parts/components regarding correctness/completeness (e.g., types, quantity, part numbers, etc.)
  • Performing simple mechanical activities (e.g., opening/closing flaps, creating access, saddlery work, processing simple inspection points, etc.); according to specifications/instructions
  • Documenting identified deviations/results within a given overall spectrum; depending on instruction and authorization
  • If necessary, identifying materials using part catalogs/Illustrated Parts Catalogues, construction documents, SRM, etc.
  • Performing additional activities according to GA-ATS model authorizations

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed training as an Aircraft Mechanic with a specialization in Maintenance Technology
  • At least 3 years of specialist professional experience in maintenance/servicing, preferably with Business-Jets
  • Good English skills
  • SASPF basics
  • Willingness to work shifts, field service, and flexible working hours
  • Good IT skills (MS-Office applications and SAP are an advantage)
  • Teamwork skills, independence, and flexibility
