Located at our Avery Dennison Smartrac plant in Querétaro and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The selected candidate will have professional development as part of a new team, in a growing industry candidate. The goal of the Facilities and Maintenance team is, through modern maintenance systems, to maintain the "normal operation" of the plant operations and continuously improve the availability/reliability of the equipment to manufacture quality products safely and profitably. This team will also be responsible for the planning and execution of CAPEX, including an ambitious Capacity Increase Master Plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains knowledge and a good understanding of the facilities/equipment and their conditions.
• Responsible for continuous maintenance and troubleshooting, based on work orders.
• Monitor facilities/equipment to ensure optimal configuration, work with Quality to maintain optimal environmental conditions.
• Monitor facilities/equipment to ensure optimal operation, work with Production to schedule planned downtime.
• Monitor facilities/equipment to ensure safe operation, work with EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
• Monitor contractor activity.
• Support emergency response for safety and fire.
• Support projects, installation, and commissioning of equipment.
• Follow the internal work regulations and the safety requirements established by the company.
• Comply with and share Avery Dennison's ethics and values policy.
• Apply and promote 5's in their work area.
• In case of being part of any company brigade and/or commission, they must fulfill the corresponding activities.
• Availability to rotate shifts.

• High school, TSU, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or technical field, preferably in the Automotive or Healthcare industry.
• Basic English knowledge.
• Experience in electrical substations, compressors, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and FPS (fire protection systems).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
