Description  We are looking for a professional expert in tax matters to ensure the timely and accurate compliance of all tax obligations in Colombia. This role is critical to maintaining alignment with the global policies of our headquarters in the US, guaranteeing reports under international standards and minimizing any risk of legal or financial contingency. Main Responsibilities Local Compliance: Lead the preparation and filing of national declarations (Renta, IVA, Retención) and territorial ones (ICA) in Medellín and other cities of operation.

Exogenous Information: Coordinate and guarantee the successful submission of national (DIAN) and district magnetic media.

US Reporting (ASC 740): Collaborate on the quarterly and annual tax package under US GAAP standards, managing current and deferred tax provisions for consolidation in the US.

Transfer Pricing: Manage data collection for the Local File and Master File, working with external consultants on the documentation of intercompany operations.

Audit Management: Represent the company before the DIAN, the UGPP, and external auditors, ensuring compliance with internal controls under the SOX Law.

Strategy and Reconciliation: Perform the detailed reconciliation between accounting profit (NIIF) and tax profit.

Profile Requirements Education: Professional in Contaduría Pública with a valid Tarjeta Profesional.

Postgraduate: Specialization in Taxes (Completed or in progress).

Experience: 3 to 5 years in tax departments of multinationals or Big 4 firms.

Languages: Intermediate-Advanced English (B2). You must be able to participate in global calls and write technical reports for the headquarters.

Technical Knowledge: Updated Colombian Estatuto Tributario.

International Financial Reporting Standards (NIIF/IFRS).

Desirable knowledge in US GAAP.

Proficiency in the Muisca platform and DIAN pre-validators.

Technological Tools ERP: Advanced handling of SAP or Oracle.

Excel: Advanced level (Pivot tables, Power Query, Macros desirable).

Key Competencies Attention to detail: Extreme rigor in the handling of figures and legal reports.

Assertive Communication: Ability to translate local tax complexity to foreign partners.

Analytical Thinking: Identification of efficiencies and ethical tax planning.
